Ablation of parahisian ventricular focus

چکیده
Idiopathic premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) are a common arrhythmia, sometimes presenting as highly symptomatic and drug-resistant ectopy and more rarely as a reduction in left ventricular function. Common sites of PVCs include the right and left ventricular outflow tracts, the mitral annulus, and the aortic cusps. In addition, the right ventricular septum in the vicinity of the His bundle has been

Catheter Ablation of Parahisian Premature Ventricular Complex
Catheter ablation is performed in selected patients with a symptomatic premature ventricular complex (PVC) or PVC-induced cardiomyopathy. Ablation of PVC from the His region has a high risk of inducing a complete atrioventricular block. Here we report successful catheter ablation of a parahisian PVC in a 63-year-old man.
متن کامل[Cryoablation of ventricular arrhythmias originating from septal aspects of mitral and tricuspid annulus].
Two cases of frequent ventricular ectopy are described. Case one: a 49 year-old woman with post myocarditis extrasytoles (34 000/24 h). The ectopic focus was located on the tricuspid annulus - directly in the area of largest and sharpest His bundle potential and where direct His bundle capture was observed during all pace mapping attempts. Case two: a 15 year- -old men with idiopathic, very fre...
متن کاملParahisian Atrial Tachycardia: Cryoablation from the Aortic Cusp
A 29-year-old female patient with Ebstein anomaly was referred to our division for drugresistant symptomatic wide-complex tachycardia. Her preprocedural electrocardiograms showed a sinus rhythm without delta wave and a wide-complex short RP tachycardia with a rate of 150 bpm during palpitation. During conventional electrophysiologic study earliest local activation times during the tachycardia w...
متن کاملPermanent Parahisian Pacing
Right Ventricular Apical permanent pacing could have negative hemodynamic effects. A physiologic pacing modality should preserve a correct atrio-ventricular and interventricular synchronization. This can be obtained through biventricular pacing, left ventricular pacing, or from alternative right ventricular pacing sites. Direct His Bundle Pacing (DHBP) was documented as reliable and effective f...
متن کاملCatheter inversion technique for ablation of parahisian accessory pathway.
A case of WPW Syndrome due to parahisian accessory pathway was ablated by the catheter inversion technique. The pathway could not be eliminated by direct femoral approach using repeated high radiofrequeny energy ablation. No pathway potential was seen in the aortic cusps. Instead, it was successfully ablated by curving the ablation catheter underneath the septal leaflet of the tricuspid valve t...
